A massive thank you to Marilyn for helping our special day and for all the planning leading up to our big day, an amazing experience! We were not looking for a traditional wedding, but something that really represented us, the journey we have been on so far as a couple and the life we will live together. Marilyn gave us many different options, advice and variations of things to include in our ceremony based on the idea we presented to her for our wedding. From the very first time we met Marilyn, we felt as if there was something magical happening. It may have only been via Skype, but we finally felt contented in having found the exact person we wanted - she ticked all our boxes. Marilyn had a warm, calm and confident presence and we soon arranged a meeting at her lovely home to start the ball rolling. She was professional, caring, respectful and open minded. She employed a very elegant technique of collaborative creation - helping to design our wedding ceremony with as much or little help from her as we wanted. There were no rights or wrongs, no pressure, only help and support. If we wanted to be in full control of our wedding, that was fine. If we wanted Marilyn to take full control, that was fine also. But in the end, we worked together almost symbiotically, bouncing ideas off each other, learning about each other and fine-tuning our ceremony. It was amazing how quickly Marilyn felt like an old friend. It was evident from the 'Love Story' that Marilyn had created for us, that she understood us very well. On our actual wedding day, it was raining at first, but almost miraculously the clouds parted and all became calm over the water just as our ceremony was about to start. Our ceremony flowed beautifully and Marilyn took us and everyone present on a wonderful journey. At times we laughed, at times we cried, it had the full gamut of emotions. We had the most amazing afternoon and were able to get many incredible photos, just before a storm rolled through during the reception.
