Our wedding day was made so special with the help of Marilyn. When we first made contact with her she was so warm and friendly and helped us figure out the perfect ceremony to suit us. Our wedding was romantic and at the same time really intimate, relaxing and fun! Our ceremony included sharing wine together out of a goblet and the blessing of our hands an ancient Celtic tradition, which were both ideas that Marilyn came up with to make it that much more special for us! My husband Nick and I can't tell you the amount of times we have told people, "hiring Marilyn as our celebrant from NZ was the best money we spent on our wedding...full stop!" By chance we stumbled across Marilyn on Google and never looked back.Trying to sort everything out from a different country was far more challenging than we expected. Dear Marilyn, Thank you so much for everything you did to make our day so lovely. Everyone loved the ceremony! Our favourite response was "that was the first wedding I've been to that didn't leave me terrified of marriage" Ha! We were so happy with the way everything turned out. We loved how the ceremony moved from light and fun to deep and moving. We felt connected and present throughout the ceremony. The way you spoke and brought our story to life was perfect and we really enjoyed it. The wedding was pulled together in such a short time. We also had the challenge of organising it from the USA. Being able to Skype with you and email you as much as we needed was fantastic and you always got back to us quickly and addressed all our concerns. You were respectful and accommodating with all our values and wishes for our wedding, allowing us the space to make it our own, whilst providing us with many resources and suggestions when we were stuck. The day was crazy! It poured with rain so we had to switch from the park to a nearby hall. Our families have told us that you were extremely helpful with the last minute set up,  letting them know the best way to organise the aisle and the circle for the ceremony. You also calmed us down when we arrived and allowed us space and time to ground and connect before we began.
